Did you ever analyze your growth?

  • Charts
  • Tape measure
  • Calendars

When we were younger, getting bigger was a big deal, even if it was only a couple of inches. It seemed that as we grew, we were better off.

At the end of Ezekiel, the Lord gives him a final picture of the glory of God. This time, it’s in the form of water that rises from ankle to knee to thigh to chest until it covers the heads of all who are in it.

This water is from the Holy Spirit. This vision is God’s promise to us that he will give us an ever increasing presence of our Father. The longer we remain in Christ, the higher his love grows and the deeper we settle into his presence.

This is real and verifiable, just like the growth chart.

This is the year for us to keep measuring the presence of God in our life.

Are you feeding on Gods glory? Keep eating his word, and the word is Jesus Christ.

Are you asking for and receiving his healing? Only the sick get healed.

When we belong to Jesus, growth is a natural part of our life with the Lord. Even to the degree that even lifeless places and dead hearts respond to God in us.

As we grow, the word will define who we are and what we’ll become. it’ll be said “And from that day the name of the city will be ‘The Lord Is There’” (Ezekiel 48:35).
