It’s easy to get wrapped up in the holiday festivities, while others feel lonely or sad during Christmas and feel the holiday blues. But whoever you are, and whatever you feel about Christmas, we’ll be focusing on the greatest gift of all: our Savior Jesus.

Of course, everyone is welcome to worship with us any Sunday at 10 a.m. for live worship and warm fellowship. When you come for a visit, stop by the visitor’s desk and get your FREE GIFT. This will include a card for a free cup of coffee (or any other drink) at the Great Awakening Café, located right inside our front doors.

After serving for many years as our worship leader, Brian Kamstra became pastor of Spirit of God Fellowship. He and the rest of our staff would love to meet you and answer any questions.

WHO WE ARE

Spirit of God Fellowship is a non-denominational church located in South Holland, Illinois, composed of many individuals who have been blended together by God’s grace.

 

We are a group of people who are trying to be more like Jesus. We’re definitely not perfect, and perhaps sometimes we’re a little rough around the edges, but we are diligently seeking after God, and our lives have been radically changed by Him.

God is constantly shaping our church and working in amazing ways, and we experience God the most evidently in the following four areas:

WORSHIP

The Bible tells us, and this community has seen, that God is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Our worship services are not only individually transformative; they also bring us together as a family. 

 

We know not everyone has found a safe way to return to live worship, but we have, and it’s one of the highlights of our service.

COMMUNITY

We are a church, but we are also a family. We come early for coffee and stay late for fellowship. We pray together, eat together, share one another’s burdens, and rejoice with one another’s victories. We’re here to talk about the Bible, talk about life, and most importantly, talk about Jesus. He has changed us. He’s real to us. He’s saved our lives.

OUTREACH

We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the world around us, and our love for those outside our church family has significantly shaped us over the years.  We have developed a variety of ministries to impact and reach out to those around us.  One example of our heart for outreach can be seen through Restoration Ministries.
