SOGF PRAYER MINISTRY
Standing in the Gap
As Christians, we have the privilege of praying to the Father on behalf of others. In this world, people have a variety of needs, such as healing, comfort, and encouragement. The prayer ministry team is made up of ordinary Christians who depend upon our extraordinary God and want to help those in need. We pray together in a variety of ways.
A PRAYER FOR YOU
God loves you, and we want you to feel that love. Watch this video and let us pray for you that you will feel God’s love in a special way today.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER
Our Prayer Team meets at to scheduled times each week for Intercessory Prayer. Sundays before the service, we meet for prayer at 9:30 am. This prayer focuses on the Sunday Worship Service, the church, and leaders. Stop at the Information Desk to find out where we are meeting.
We also meet here at Spirit of God Fellowship at 9 am on Mondays. We pray for our church, our ministries, any submitted or known prayer requests, and for the entire world.
You do not need to sign up to pray with us at these times. Simply join us and we welcome you to pray with us.
A PRAYER FOR COMFORT & HEALING
If you are in a season of grief or looking for healing, watch this video and let us pray for you that God brings you peace, comfort, and healing.
PRAYING WITH OUR COMMUNITY
We have a Bereavement and Extended Illness Prayer Ministry that ministers to people or family members in the case of long-term sickness or the death of a loved one. Our elder Phil Fornett leads this group.
We also have a Prayer Team Ministry for those who need individual prayer. This takes place immediately following the Sunday Service. Our Head Elder Mathew James is the group leader.
If you are interested in joining one or both of these prayer teams, email info@sogfchurch.com and we will provide more information.
A PRAYER FOR PEACE
Sometimes life seems out of control, and we are overwhelmed. Watch this video and let us pray for God to lead you and bring you peace.
