ABOUT THE MESSAGE

RECENT MESSAGE:

FEELING HEMMED IN

Psalm 139 paints a picture of the character of God, and how God’s power and presence is radical and inescapable.

But sometimes, that presence is too close for comfort.

In this first Sunday service of the new year, John Russell recounts his own faith journey through 2025, where he experienced this discomfort, leading to an unexpected outcome.

When we come to Jesus, we are not suddenly where we need to be as a person or as a Christian. In fact, we spend a lot of time trying and falling and getting back up and falling again, and the cycle repeats.

If you've ever gone through a time of discouragement, thinking life has passed you by, remember that God knows the plans he has for you, to give you a hope and a future. Your future is bright and serves a purpose--for God AND for you!

Followers of Jesus are called to make room in their hearts and lives for their brothers and sisters.

Our Head Elder Mathew James teaches that "There's Always Room for More."

Where would we be without the unconditional love of God?

We all have gone through times of sin and shame, times when we haven't honored God or been as loving as we needed to be. God didn't turn His back on us--he doesn't bring up our past. He loves us, unconditionally, always.
