When we think back to that first night in Bethlehem, we often think of the joy and hope felt by so many at the birth of Baby Jesus. But when Mary first learned about the miracle of Jesus growing inside her, her primary emotion was fear.

Jesus's body and blood were given freely for our good. Isaiah 55:1-2 says:

“Is anyone thirsty?
Come and drink—
even if you have no money!

Two very important words to live by:
Destiny and Sovereignty.
God has a destiny for all His children to achieve, and he is in charge of our lives.

Our pastor brought us this message as part of our Jubilee Celebration of 50 years as a church community. According to the book of Leviticus, in the year of Jubilee, slaves and prisoners were set free, all debts were forgiven, and all property was returned to the original owners.

Pride distances us from people in our lives, and it also distances us from God. It's one of the deadliest sins, and a sin that comes before destruction. But pride doesn't have to destroy you--there's good news! Humility heals all pride problems.
