Our pastor brought us this message as part of our Jubilee Celebration of 50 years as a church community. According to the book of Leviticus, in the year of Jubilee, slaves and prisoners were set free, all debts were forgiven, and all property was returned to the original owners.

The Reverend Dr. Ozzie E. Smith, Jr., was our special guest speaker who brought our Father's Day message about appreciating the legacy of the men who came before us.

Pride distances us from people in our lives, and it also distances us from God. It's one of the deadliest sins, and a sin that comes before destruction. But pride doesn't have to destroy you--there's good news! Humility heals all pride problems.

Sloths sleep up to 20 hours a day, hanging upside down in a tree. When they move at all, it’s at an extremely slow pace. In fact, they move so slowly and so rarely that green algae grows on their fur from staying in their tree spot for so long.

Thank God we don’t get what we deserve. What we get instead is AMAZING GRACE. Grace is a favor from God to us. So often, we try to tell God who He should give His grace to, forgetting that His grace is for all.
