Sermon Series:
SUNDAY SERVICE
Thankful Worship
We often think of worship as a Sunday activity, but what if God is calling your name right in the middle of your Tuesday commute or Wednesday afternoon meeting?
In this message our Family & Youth Pastor Charles Sergeant challenges us to look beyond the ordinary and see the extraordinary way God is pursuing us—even in our "regular life."
We're diving into questions like:
The Call: If God is constantly trying to get our attention, are we truly noticing Him? Does He stand out amidst the noise of our busy lives?
Once He has our attention, are we listening?
Are we humble enough to adjust our plans and lives according to His instruction?
We'll look at the example of Moses, who, before the burning bush, didn't yet know the God who was speaking to him, and was naturally afraid of His overwhelming power. We learn that we don't have to know everything to simply respond.
As we conclude the Thanksgiving weekend, join us as we learn what it means to live in a state of Thankful Worship—a life lived in constant acknowledgment of the God who is always reaching out.
